So I never knew the story behind the Kahlo / Rivera House
I never even knew that they both lived in one house built in two different blocks one for Frida and another for Diego. A famous footbridge being the only connection between the buildings connecting the doors of both residences, having Frida's side of the house always locked (even after they reconciled)
Its interesting to see such a functionalist house, from architect Juan O'Gorman, who outrageously over decorated the Central Library of Mexico City University.
The house was built in 1931-1932 with a "symbolic bridge" as they say.
