The question Gehry has been asking to practically every journalist, every intern, and practically in every interview i've read of his.
Well recently post the release of Zaha Hadid's new vases collection for CItco known as the Tau Vases- a series of marble smooth vases, we might just have a contemporary answer to the question.
Well obviously Bernini has sharp folds and MIchelAngelo's folds are way smoother in curves.
Going back to the vases you'll notice the Citco collection of Zaha's vases have very curvilinear folds, curves and there's a smooth feel to the object in itself.
And this can be compared to a series of vases that Gehry had done for TIffany a while back with wrinkled sharp folds in the volumetric approach.
So does this really answer the question ? Is Gehry a Bernini and Zaha a Michel Angelo?
