PEACH & PEPPER - bar + cuisine BEIRUT - LEBANON
Peach & Pepper, nestled in a Jacques Liger Belair-designed structure off Pasteur Street in Beirut, is a bar and cuisine concept that thoughtfully integrates its rich architectural heritage with modern functionality.
The design intent pays homage to the original architect by replicating key architectural details throughout the space, reinterpreting them with diverse functions that serve the needs of an all-day venue.
The design follows three guiding principles: a contextual approach that respects the unique character of the surrounding heritage buildings, a toned-down yet playful ambiance that invites guests to engage with the space in a relaxed manner, and the incorporation of cultural references that are central to the studio’s creative philosophy.

The neighborhood
As a primordial element in the design, the neighborhood is part of the design process of the space. The urban relationships the project creates on the different streets and views become part of the identity of the space.
