The object created by BORGI | BASTORMAGI -the duo the studio had been a part of- for “sense-me” by SBODIO 32 for Milan Design Week 2017, questions the relationship of the body with its reflection.
While looking at yourself is another mundane activity; it is, in reality, a moment of connection with the self. Seeing yourself in parts, hiding other ones, [ me ] rror allows the user to reconstruct their own perception of themselves through a scattered reflection of fragments.
The take on this product/installation by the designers, shatters this view, highlighting parts of the whole and never the entire, allowing for imagination to flow, pushing the user to create a different view of themselves.

Partially geometric, partially sculptural, partially sleek, partially raw, partially stable, partially fragile, it holds an urban edge, inspired by Beirut’s urban landscape and signage.
-
The design aims for equilibrium between its parts, a balance aimed for, daily, by the urban dweller.
